Here we are. In some cases, this has been a long time coming. With a certain degree of inevitability. I don’t know if I can remember the first time I read a book or watched a movie. I do know however, that I’ve always loved them.

How to explain how we got here? It probably starts in my childhood bedroom, flipping through magazines, and watching movies and tv shows on my mini tv (it was sooooo small and so heavy)

I loved reading vogue and elle and instyle and cutting them up and making my own magazines. But I loved watching movies and making my own in my head (casting them, shooting them, writing them, costume designing them.) I was doing all this organically, as I moved through my childhood and teens and twenties. It took me until my thirties to understand that both of those things could exist in one job.

I don’t know what this will be. I know what I Hope it will become. But for now, that’s for me to know and you to find out.

A frequent piece of advice about writing is to write what you know. So, a few things I love are books, young adult stories, fashion and film.
